What Loo-Knee says, 2 tail lamps plus 2 stop/tail lamps! Failing that use 4 new quality lamps.

Are they not the rear fogs?

I'm sure mine has only two outer tail lights, and the bootlids are fogs.(my older '97 had four tail lights).

Maybe its a tail light working intermittantly, and every time I look its back on.?

Warning popped up 4 times on the way to work today

I can't say for the face lift cars .... take the lamp holder out & have a look.  ;) but I thought all Omegas, old & new shape, had a tail & a stop/tail on each side. :-/

Tail/brake on outer clusters only, boot clusters are fogs.

Nothing seems loose, might just try a couple of new lamps tomorrow..

All saloons only have fogs and reverse in bootlid.

There are 4 tail bulbs though, but all in outer cluster.

Don't think numberplate light monitored.

Try better quality bulbs if it persists

Outer Clusters are ONE tail/brake, and ONE indicator.

New bulbs seem to have cured it.... :y

Thought I'd change the number plate lamp too, housing looked damaged when removed........

Both pins inside fell out when I removed the lamp, as part of the housing has previously broken off. Threw into bin in disgust, then wish I had'nt when my local Mr Vauxhall charged me £20 for a new one.

Warning back again despite new bulbs...... :'(

Also noticed last night my fuel gauge dropped to zero for a few mins for no apparant reason...low fuel flashing too, all on a FULL tank.

Another thread suggested an earth problem. Removed plastic trim around boot catch, removed and cleaned the connections.

(the ones to the passenger side with the 10mm nut...is this the correct and/or only earth back there?)

Will see what happens tomorrow!
