incorrect boost pressure

code No 44 incorrect boost pressure. i need to know how to remedy this. i intend to try to do it myself so any advice would be much appreciated  , cheers  :) :) :)

first job is to check the boost pressure hose for blockage, second job is to check the sensor isnt filled with gunge from the induction , tin of carb cleaner is you friend although i have known boost pressure pipes to splt!! :y

thanks i,ll check the hose (hopefully Ian D will point me in the right direction ) when i find out which hose it is. :-[ :-[ :-[  .will enquire about the gate thing as well. cheers. : :) :)
