Doors/Boot sensors
« on: 30 July 2009, 11:58:58 »

Where exactly are the sensors for
A) the boot and B) the doors.
Are they in the same place or not?
Just so i know where to point the keyfob to make it work the best as sometimes it doesnt seem to work from as far away as it does other times and the battery is new just 2 weeks old.

I get best distance results aiming it at the glass of the car so I presume somewhere in the cabin.

On a lighter note you could allways do a jeremy clarkson and hold the remote to your head when pushing the button. It really does work.

How far away does anyone want their car to open from them? As long as it's open before you can reach the door/boot handle, then surely that close enough.  ::) If you open from too far away your courtesy light will have gone back out by the time you get there.  ;) :y

Its not so much the distance just the actual opening. It sometimes works 1st time but other times 4 or 5 goes before opening however far away or close i may be at the time
