Heating
« on: 29 November 2009, 19:25:41 »

The heating seems very cold on my Omega and the floor heating doesn't work at all. I seem to just get cold air out of the windscreen vents.

Today for the first time the air got pretty warm but the temp was up to about 95 because I left the car running.

Could this simply be an airlock? Or is it likely to be more sinister? Any opinions!

Thanks

Sounds like a vaccum fault....the heater direction and bypass valve are vaccum operated so check your under bonnet vac pipes

Ah, thank you  :y Will give it a go. I've just read the vacuum pipe guide. I've got to clean the breathers and change the coolant anyway so will all tie in together. Haven't had a dry day in weeks down here though!
