key number is of no use really. We need a bit more information, as key design changed over the years which changes what needs to be done

How old is the car? Do you have a 'bubble' near the sunroof switch? - If Yes then its the IR system and a replacment fob needs to be linked to the car.

If you have the later radio type, then you need the 'car pass' which is credit card size peice of paper which has details on the car, which you need to take to a dealer to have a key programmed to the car with tech2.

Might be worth posting up your location, as we may have tech2 near you...

eBay is your best source for replacement blades & fobs, then just take to a local cutting shop

Was that friendly enough?  ::)

When you say "broken" .. how exactly ...?? In snapped or "not working" ??

If it's the latter .. then PM Martin Imber on the site ... he repairs electrically failed keyfobs ... :)

Are the buttons to the doors integral to the key (not on a seperate fob?)

If thats the case and you have a replacement blade, get it cut, and re-fit, but remember to transfer the transponder

105 is the blade type. Buy another 105 blade, and use the tranponder and remote from your old key
