irmscher sportstar 9j alloys

i have a set of these will fitting 9j alloys on the front of my omega be ok? they seem to fit and dont rub but been told not to use them on the front?

tyres are: 265/35/18

the tyre size is reasonable diameter-wise ( 1.5% out )

but I think that the width might cause you a problem at the front.

Try bolting one up and going lock-to-lock ( with weight back on the wheels ). It'll be obvious if the diameter is too big as it'll catch the strut spring pan.

to drive, the tyres will wreck the handling - don't forget that handling is almost the opposite of grip - when you increase grip, handling will get worse. Expect tram-lining, too.

it's a matter of preference, but I reckon that 225 is probably a little too wide for decent handling.

I got 255/35/18 on front, 8J wheel and that is limit IHMO , best size for front is 245/35 or 235/40 for safe driving

that size it tight enough, and conti sc3 aint cheep in that size are they...Jeee  sus!   :o

I have a set of four 9"... and I'm after two 8", and then I'll sell two 9"  :)

I can't do a swap because I live in Belgium... So I want to buy 8" and then sell 9".
