British Gas have sorted my account out it only took them 7 months :-?, all started last March when paid both leccy and gas and credited my account with £250 (bad move), anyway after several phone calls and a letter, they still could'nt get it right. Credited my gas account with the leccy payment and the credit, then moved the £250 credit into leccy, then moved it back to gas account (seemingly then showed as a debit, thus making them think I owed them money). Said they were missing payments and I owed them first £177 and the £73 on leccy. Called them asked them to send me out my bill statements, what did they send the gas statements

. Anyway leccy account is now at £0.00, which is what it should be

, and the gas account is now in credit, which it should be

Morale of the story is, never put your account in credit, as the break it all up, and after seven months I have only just received the benefit of crediting my account back in March, should have charged them interest on the £250.00, which could have been in my account for the past 7 months
