Seems that not all the earlier models have it.
I don't have it on the old CDX but do have on the younger CD.  :y

Oh ok. Bit of an omission on GM's part though surely. Personally can't get on with the steering wheel at anything other than 2nd position down from the top.

Could do with extendable adjustment as well personally, being tall. normal hight. :-/

GM had your safety in mind when they first built the Omega  ;). They removed the Carlton's & Senator's tilting column for the Omega so that the steering wheel was in the optimum position for the airbag. Quite how that was supposed to work when drivers of all sizes would be driving the car I don't know.  :-?

if someone does this please post some pictures on how to do it.. my steering column has some play and i want to change it but i don't know how to do it, and in that guide its not that clear :(, at least for me :)
