track rod
« on: 09 February 2011, 11:11:26 »

I have just had a mot and had a advisory for the near side outer track rod for some play in it, is it best to replace the whole arm or just the outer one which has play in it  :-/

personally - id do the whole rod, cos I find it easier to setup if you can match the 2 on the ground rather than counting turns as you try and undo your old seized one.

doesnt matter though, its up to you
