Dis/Coil Pack
« on: 23 February 2011, 11:51:35 »

Hi guys,

Which coil/dis pack is the correct one for a 2001 3.0 elite?

Been on Eurocarparts and there are 5 different ones  :-/

Need to keep car on road so don't want to be taking stuff apart twice and had a look to see if I could see a part number.... which I now know was obviously a waste of time!

They (Eurocar) seem to distinguish between an estate and a saloon too, are there different coils on them?

Thanks, Mike

as a rule, i think the differance between the 2.5 / 3 ltr v6's  is the shape of the plug on the LT side  :y

you will find that the plug on the end of the MAF sensor ( pipe that comes from the airbox ) is the same shape as your coil pack  :y

some have square corners or some have ovel shaped conectors  :y

engine is a engine  ;)
no diffferance between saloon and estate  :y

Strange that eurocarparts list some for estate and others for saloon?!  ::)
