Hi Bigtow.

I have just spoken to Pro Tyres in Rainham and the guy ..( Andy) seemed very helpfull.

He confirmed they use the same equipment as WIM and have the same details stored on their machine. When I asked costs he said they do a free check and print out then if any adjsutment is required there are 2 for an Omega which are back/front at £29=95 each +vat....Now I am puzzled as WIMS online booking is over £115 with the vat for full adjustment which according to their site all approved agents carry out.

Might take a trip over there later in week and see what is what,as am sure mine need some attention as no wobbles from steering and dead straight but back end at speed feels like you are on a load of marbles which is quite un-nerving.

Our network price includes us policing the work and end results.

Example: Pro Tyres are wrong, your car has four adjustments, front/ rear toe, front camber and a castor optimise.

Thanks for the advice and please let me know how you get on at the rainham branch.  When i spoke to the guys at the one listed in strood a while back they struck me as they had all this shiny kit but wouldn't even know how to switch it on.

Out of interest, where is the nearest agent for me in south wales?
