Vibration from Engine

Looking for help or advice to solve a problem re vibration from engine on a 2000 Estate 2.5 CD. When I take my foot off accelerator there is a vibrating noise from engine. Anyone got any ideas?

Does it vibrate in neutral when you rev it then lift off the throttle? check the auxillarly belt tensioner to make sure the belt is not slack. also check the water pump, power steering and aircon compressor pulleys for play.
 It could also be that the front pulley which is also a harmonic damper is on the way out.

I had a similar problem but the vibration was coming from the rear. Topped up the ATF which sorted it.
