Fitting xenon bulbs

Is it safe to fit xenon bulbs yourself providing you disconnect the battery?

yes, just be careful!
i would leave them on, disconect battery, and have a cup of tea while all discharges, then all switches off and go for it.

no extra work, cos I had to remove the battery anyway for access.
