Electric windows misbehaving!!
« on: 12 August 2009, 10:46:19 »

I have a problem with my rear driver side electric window. I open the window fine, but when i try to close it simply refuses to  closes. It rides up halfway then stop  and  rides down again to fully open position.
It has done this a few times and it takes forever to ever close the window again.
It will eventually close, but after too many attempts!!!
Can some one please advice on how i can fix this short of going to vauxhall dealership!!

I got a spray can many years ago called electric window nylon lubricant from my local motor factors, probably still around in some form or another, (looks like silicone spray to me) and a few squirts in the window channels followed by a few up and down operations of the window, and they are usually good as gold for quite a while.
