Tech2 - Luton area anyone available?
« on: 03 December 2009, 11:54:21 »

Apparently I need my sunroof ECU swiped by Tech2 unit in order to get it working properly again. Can anyone help or assist?  :)
Many thanks,

disconnected the battery, thus killing your sunroof?

It just needs programming which can be done with just your finger, press and hold for 30(?) seconds, in each position. Fully open, and fully closed.

Job done  :y

Refer to my other post regarding SUNROOF - ECU Location.   A fellow OOF has advised a rest using the Tech2...... Is this possible?.

The sunroof operation was fine until several weeks ago until Battery went flat (Battery ok after re-charging). I have tried everything else with the  reset procedure, even Darth Loo-Knee  has looked at it and even tried replacement motor and logic unit...still nothing sorted...just a whirring sound but no movement at all.  I can't appear to even open it manually using the centre slot and a big flat end screwdriver as suggested in the User manual !  :(
Any advice greatly appreciated for next step--- hopefully not the dreaded Vauxhall Main dealer   aaaagh !  :'(   thanks

If you cannot open it manually, then its sounds like you have a mechanical failure of the sunroof, and not an electrical one (yet!)

Help ? -  I don't want too force the Sunroof ratchet mechanism too much with the flat blade screwdriver...so do I turn the mechanism clockwise or anticlockwise to try and open it ?

Also what could cause it to jam ?  thanks
