Normally by bouncing it off the rev limiter, I believe, assuming it's a spark cut type, of course. ::)

I must say, I've always appreciated the fun that can be had with a coil, a 555 timer and a power transistor but didn't realise they could cause such amusement  without even being powered up. ;D
