I have a chip in my MV6 it seems a bit more responsive and mpg hasn't really suffered at all :)

Well it is time you cleaned your car then, the seaside is a bugger, chips and bits of fish, and sand seems to get everywhere. ;D ;D ;D

I actually meant a chip in my windscreen ;D

£299 seems a bit excessive just for a chip unless its a custom job done on a rolling road.

I was thinking of trying one from german ebay in my mv6 for about £40.

Might work, it might not but he doas seem to have some good feedback from english customers.

there is a shop near me that will supply chips for about 90p, you get a big bag full and they will put salt n viginar on at no extra cost.. ;D
