You would not wat to be either, IMHO i would go for the caravan, when my daughter was young it was good fun, you have an home base and a lot cheaper than hotels etc if you intend using it often, come and go as you please.

Some of the antics of the forum take a bit of getting used to, I just watched for the first few weeks, not daring to post as everyone seemed to know each other so well. Time cures all, most of us have never met we just get used to each other on here, and I am still new to it all really. There is no offence meant to anyone, it is all in fun and Loo newbie being a newbie is common place, happens regularly.
Get a Caravan, as has been said packing up the motor home to pop to the shops is a pain, also you cant leave swmbo behind with the kids while you slope off somewhere. When we had our tourer I used to commute to work sometimes during the long summer holidays. Whatever you decide enjoy btw we now have a static caravan, home from home.
