abs ecu's
« on: 16 December 2011, 16:40:08 »

Any difference in the software settings between a 2.5 and a 3ltr manual ?

Mine still has a 2.5 abs system fitted but a 3ltr engine.
I have noticed that abs tends to kick in on the front wheels rather easy ?

Yes, there is a setting on the ABS ECUs for engine type, I believe. I wouldn't expect it to affect ABS functionality greatly. It's more likely to be to tune the traction control torque reduce to suit the engine size.

I have noticed that the Tc is reluctant to play sometimes.
You can get the wheels to spin up a little (pulling out of a wet junction) before it cuts in on one day.
Another day, you can just touch the brake pedal and the abs will kick in  :-\

Not a real problem, just one of those things that bugs me.

Bit like me really  ;D ;D
