Just the other day the missus decided it was time our 10 year old was given the basics on sex education, and with him being male the missus decided it was down to me to give the speech.

So there we are playing Super Mario on the Wii, after 30 minutes or so of gameplay I decide it's the right moment and say to him "Do you know about the birds & the bees?"

With that, he burst in to tears and said he didn't want to know.
Naturally I was somewhat taken aback at that response and asked him what was wrong.

Through the tears he replied "Dad, when I was 6 you told me there was no Santa.
When I was 7, you told me there was no Easter Bunny.
When I was 8, you told me there was no Tooth Fairy.
If you're about to tell me that grown up's don't f*ck, I'll have nothing left to live for"
