top grade fuel
« on: 27 March 2008, 20:37:28 »

hi all, I have had my new miggy now for two months and average 25.5 miles per gallon nearly all short runs is this about right or would I getany more with the best fuel? I have read on the forum that I can get a vaux garage to do a "tech 2" to tune up the engine, i would like to knowif others have had this done and if it improves performance, many thank for all your past comments, these are greatly appreciated...

You should update your profile. Some of the members here are in possesion of tech2 and can probably help you (better then a dealer).

Add where you are located and what car you have :y

If you have a 3.2 petrol, that mpg is good.  If you have a diesel model, then its poor ;)

Tech2 won't magically improve performance, but can assist in locating problems with the engine/management
