Electric open and close tailgate estate

I want to open en close the estate tailgate electrical or hydraulic (like Vectra C)
Is here somebody who has already done that?
Any tips are welcome.

Anything's possible... But when someone says that it normally means it's more trouble than it's worth.  ;)

I've no idea how powered tailgates normally work, so not sure if it's easily retro-fittable. :-\

Been considering this myself.  The Vectra-C uses actuators in place of gas struts, and there is a how-2 on the Vectra-C forum showing how to retro-fit the system to a Vectra-C.  Having said that, it looks like a hell of a lot of work and will be expensive.

Is this why you wanted the 3-button key fobs Peter?  ??? ;)

I found the items its indeed a lot of work but thats no problem. (putting Bose and or Navigation in an Omega thats a challenge  ;D)

That was the idea, the last set was for somebody else.
