you could always get a new one take the old one outside and when you better beat the living shite out of it...course you may get admitted to a nice warm padded cell but you will win

Tho once last chance id give it.....dunno what A08 means......dishwashers are prone to limescalling up....so try one of dishwasher cleaners on max heat.....might clean some crud out of it

A08 is aux wash motor triac open/short circuit, which may have been a bit of a fault left over from the amount of water from the catastrophric leak it developed...  ...not happened again since, so classing it as a spurious one-off

They are quite simple devices TBH...

Depends on the make, i reckon.....My old Bosch was definately complicated. It had a plastic molded panel down one side of the washer, inside the panel where molded water ways and chambers, it probably looked like a map of the canals in Venice.....with various pipes attached to the panel in places....going to what i assume where pressure sensors......
