Sky's new F1 App for the iPad, (due for release before the first race) its going to be part of the Sports App. Really quite impressed and looking forward to supporting this product.

The direction Sky is going is iPad apps are a "companion" to TV, to give you more of what you are watching. So with F1 on the iPad, there will be multiple camera options to chose. Various cockpit cams, pitlane, grid, main broadcast & others.

Going to be a fantastic aid, while watching the race to be able to pick these various angles 

Yes I've heard all arguments of F1 not on BBC, but what we have in the pipeline, along with Race Control interactive stuff on the TV. Its going to be worth it

Yes, at the moment it just has some test feeds, as its not live yet. Not quite the same!

No, the Touchpad does what I need it to do. Anything more, I use a proper computer.

Ironically I like watching in the pitts and in the garages and the drivers' mobile homes are just utterly amazing.

Just ashame the racing itself isn't that exciting (imo of course).

However, would love to have a go in an F1 car.... think the Arrows offered a ride in a two seater round a track ages ago. Don't know whether they still do. That would be awesome!

My bro, lucky bugger, got flown off to Spain to drive a McLaren F1 single seater. One of my other bros, who used to work for McLaren at the time, was jealous as hell. But not I. Oh no, not me

My we are positive aren't we. I have high hopes for sky. With thier resources it could be the best presentation of F1 yet. Bring it on!

They could have nude tarts all over it, but until the FIA allow racing, and the poofter drivers are prepared to, the core part - thae race - will still be dull as hell.

I watched the vid on McLaren building the MP4C. Looked awesome. The boss has serious OCD though

No probs really, but they spent the morning training him on other single awarded first. He was a tight squeeze in cockpit.
