The main meets are generally where work is done on cars, various Tech II-ing jobs etc and are well worth trying to attend, other regional mini-meets are just an excuse to talk 13ollocks about your car, maybe the odd pointer to remedy any potential fault looming.
Both types are also an opportunity to put a face to a name!
So in short ................. yes they are!  :y :y :y :y :y

From what I've read and heard they are a 'must' so I'm trying to organise a trip over to one of the big ones. Hopefully the lakes will get sorted so I'll have a choice :y

A great time had by everyone that go to the Meets.

You don't have to stay around whilst alot work on cars. Plenty of other things to do or go and see.

The Bar b ques are a great everyone swarms around the Master Chefs 'The Dents' who do a brilliant job every year :y

Well worth a weekend away or even a day visit.

meets are good made to feel welcome plus as said you can put faces to names and that makes the chat on here even better as you have a good impression of the person and dont take things the wrong way

I think Mr Dent Jnr has become a natural alternative to the older Mr Dent, did a GREAT Job at the Lakes last Year and 'coped' with Miss Vamps, and she takes some feeding when the mood takes her, and that was on top of the curries served up by Mrs Dundee at tea time with the Miss's Dundee's....... :D :D :D :y

Sorry I drifted, not like me :D :D Are the Meets good.......YES, for the reasons given........... :y :y :y

Thanks for that Paul (I assume its Paul, sorry if its not) I will consider the Hotel/Pub option. I don't drink owing to my medications plus late nights seem to be a thing of the past. Maybe the odd night chancing turning into a pumpkin won't hurt :)
