so basically jack stand a touch further back towards the rear of the car and the jack just behind the factory jacking point :y :y :y :y :y

Was in costco (reading) at the weekend and they had a nice solid 3 ton jack for £80 all in. It also had a low starting point - looked a good bit of kit as mentioned by others
