Look here mate http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3630.html

click on drivers and utilities for XP and select audio - download file, unzip it and look for instructions (usually a read.me file)

well kind of, only 4 judges n the mercantile court for the whole of spain, they now been told they have to work in the afternoon to catch up the backlog, no more money so they are now working even slower! last week our case was 848th in line, not bad after 2 and a half years in the system eh? and guess what? there is not an injunction order in spain so we cant stop them doing it only denounce them afterwards!! if we interfere with them doing it we get arrested!! :-X

Russian mafia is the worst I know .. if they threat you, keep some arms in home and dont stay defenceless because those mafia men have no joke..  :-\

and if you can take your money back, there are many sunny cities south of Turkey.. here wont be this much of problem.. and justice system not as expected , but definitely much better than there.. and I will do my best to help :y

lol how long ago was this? :-\

would just like you all to know i finally got sound back on me computer!!

no matter where i went or what i downloaded nothing worked, tried everything posted on here and unless i was doing something wrong(probable) or guess maybe cos the laptop is to old or something, anyway i went to acers website again tonite, and downloaded the netbook audio, after repeatedly telling me it was an unsafe download, and i had to click continue anyway 7 times!!
it finally installed and promptly deafened me as long unused speakers burst into life!
up till now been using the skype handset to listen to everything which is not the best way of doing it!!
however soon as i can get the time im off to me mate,s up the road where he has said he will do a complete reformat? what ever that means!! which i am assured it will sort out most of the problems!!

thanks fpor all the hints and suggestions guys!! :y sorry im just not computer literate enough to carry them out!!

A complete reformat is wiping your hard drive and then reinstalling windows.
Make sure you have back up copies of those new aerial drivers!
