Oxford Products motorcycle digital clock
« on: 25 March 2012, 13:02:04 »

Not the current, hopeless, useless one, but the older (5+ years ago) almost as useless one ;D

How the break do you set the time?

The buttons are:   (O is the actual button)

        READ
  O
SET
DISPLAY
SEL
  O

Pressing top button cycles between time, alarm, date (presumably?). Pressing and holding does break all.
Pressing or pressing and holding bottom button does break all.

I remember having this trouble last time I changed the battery!

So he can try and move it forward one hour in the Spring, and move it back one hour in the Autumn.

Gives him something to do.

Easy solution here....

Buy another one......get the blokey in the shop to set the correct time on it.....then just swap them over when the clocks go back again  :y

Job jobbed  ;D

They don't do the same one, and I have made a bracket specifically for that one - the thought crossed my mine ;D

My money says you won't get on the bike this year before autumn (after your comment about wincing when you started the lawnmower) ... so just leave it set to winter time, job jobbed ;)

You could be right, but I'm only a summer rider. I'm not like Ewan Tunnie McGregor

I think that every time I see one of those bikes - even saw one the other day with the same big metal panniers..

..anyway, in that case, you have a whole year to figure this out ;)

We need to fix the bike and get it back together first and you need to see a Physio.

You won't need the clock anytime soon. In fact why have you got time read a clock anyway. Big pussy. ;D
