Hi,
Just a quicky, we are about to fit the clutch back in our w reg 2.2i omega and suddenly cannot remember which side faces the flywheel.
Any help appreciated.

Usually marked on clutch plate
I sent it off to be re-furbished or whatever it is called and they painted it, I just cannot remember if the protruding side to the flywheel as it looks in james's how to guide or not.
it does have a tiny mark 7F on one of the rivets on that side but do not know if that means flywheel or not,(why the 7)

If its the same as a 2.0 then yes the protruding side does go towards the fly wheel. Done one a couple of weeks ago so info still fresh :y.

Thanks for reply, we will try fitting it tomorrow and hope it is right as do not fancy having to do it twice.
I will reply again when it is on and working.
