Last night I went up to Wolverhampton to look at PaulCdx's cooling issues.
After leaving his place, I went onto the red. Had no LPG either.
I literally was almost stranded. I could either queue at Asda for like, 2 hours, the queue's were mad.. or get on the motorway and wing it to the services.
I chose the latter, and put in enough to get me home.
At home, Sainsbury's and Tescos were rammed, BP was dry and hence closed! I tried waitrose - they only had super unleaded.
Given the situation, I brimmed with Super unleaded, at £1.38 a litre. Thought that was as good as it got. I also brimmed with LPG at 80.9.
I wouldn't usually brim the petrol tank, but given all the selfish idiots filling cans etc, I thought I may as well at least have some in the tank while I had managed to get to a pump, and it was available.
The forecourts were all covered in petro with people over filling cans. I also saw one plank filling a 5 litre spring water container.
