Whenever possible I try and park next to a nice shiny new car. The owners seem to be a little more careful with their pride and joy.

Parking next to an old banger ( like most Omega here at OOF... ::) ::) ::) ::) ;) )......often ends with damage. :y

good practice.. I will try it.. ;D

in job,

I dont park under trees, I dont park very close to buildings (some things strangely drop, or some idiots throw cigarettes) , I dont park in road corners, I dont park between cars.. etc etc..

so no place left.. I just park behind them and block all so nobody can move and damage my car.. so they need to call me..( I leave my mobile number on dash .. numbers being the size of coke can ;D

You might get lucky ...  as posted back before Xmas .... SWTSMBO came out of a supermarket to find a note on her windscreen....  someone decent had watched someone not so decent hit her car, get out and look, then drive away.

They took the number, make and colour and left the note and phone number.

Cut a long story short, after a complaint to the police - who were very good I must say - and through insurers - but without making a claim - all of a sudden the insurers of the other car admitted liability, SWTSMBO had her car fixed for nowt, we had a letter from the police informing us the other driver had received a written caution, then we got a writen apology from the other driver !!!

There are some decent folks out there  :y :y :y

Not sure, some of the new mums around here turn into airheads, and nothing but little johnny matters, to the point they probably don't even know they have swung the door open.
