The correct one of coarse, but if you have a half decent socket set then you should have it  yes ?? called spark plug remover.  :y

Yeah but there are at least 2 different spark plug sizes! Cannot remember as mine has the platinum plugs and they seem to last for years. Think it might have been the smaller size.

You'll need "the smaller one", 16 mm? The bigger being 21 I think the smaller is 16  :-\

try this next time
loosen the plug of with a spanner then use a piece of hose[i find hose pipe is good] just push it over the top of the plug and away you go.this is also good for fitting the plug as you can feel the threads.

I expect the confusion here is because spark plug wrenches/socket sizes are not the size of the hex head but rather (if memory serves) named for the size of the threads of the spark plug.

e.g. I have a spark plug wrench right here, it says '10mm' in big letters on it - the hex head end is considerably larger than 10mm ;) but it's for a '10mm' spark plug. The equivalent 'normal' socket is probably somewhere around 16mm.

Just 2? I'd to buy yet another size when I wanted to remove the plugs from my TDM  ;) ;)
