hi all i went to change the battery in the key fob for cl changed battery but cannot get cl to work can i still use the key to drive the car iv no spare any help muchly appreciated

i cannot get the lightr on the fob to light up tried a few duracell batteries so i know its not battery  >:( HELP!!!!!!!

Oh, and you sure there's nothing damaged? If the light is not coming on, but the battery is ok, then maybe the holder is broken?

off to vaux tomorro morning then if its ok can i still drive it i hope so ::)

No nothing is missing I got the fob circuit board chip and battery holder I also have the same from my spare that I lost the chip and key from

have you tried putting key in ignition turning ignition on and then press lock button and then un lock button and then turn off ignition and try the remote from outside again.....that is what i was told to do as i had the same problem..and it worked for me.....worth a try  :y

Yep tried it going to go buy new battery again tomorro try that and resync try it again
