I'm sure its in the Human nature when stressed to lie.
When training new staff for my unit the first and most important rule is
"No matter what they say, assume they are wrong, mistaken or lying"
and
"Where there is no truth, logic prevails"
My job would be so much quicker if they just tell us what really happend and not what they think we want to hear
When I trained new guys on my unit it was 'watch your back'
Not many people have the spine to admit fault hence lieing
And no matter how much of a scumbag a person maybe we are all innocent until proven guilty.............unless you're in North Wales where the Chief Cunstable seems to be waging a war on all road users.
The UK is Policed by public consent.
If the Police keep kicking Joe Public in the knackers projects like Crimewatch etc wont work as well....how can you expect people to help when they get EFPN and FPN day in day out when discretion may have been the better solution? ? ? ?
I have often found the most blatant liars are those who know the system...whether from Policing it or being processed through it.
All you have to do is raise enough doubt..................
