If it's not water, then the next thing to do it whip the coil pack out and check for oil in the plug wells caused by a leaking cam cover gasket.  :y
Sorry should have said full service done including cam covers..

If the plugs were done the other day it's probably not that......re what chris is saying if your car is the same as mine you will have a foam pad just above the coil pack plug on the scuttle, this gets sodden with water and drips onto the plug.

If looking at the engine from the front bumper is that over the right had side(passenger side)

Were genuine GM gaskets used?

Good work mate.  I'd still recommend taking out the coil pack and checking the plug wells.  Any water or oil should be fairly easy to see.  :y

Any water running down from the scuttle will drip straight on to the plug on the 2-4-6 coil pack. When you pull the coil pack out, spray some WD40 on to both the plug and the coil pack. :y

On the coil pack itself, any damage such as rust or cracking will be obvious underneath it. :-\

Not necessarily, try a night in the airing cupboard first, and make sure that the plug is completely dry before refitting. If water there then the scuttle needs sealing up as per the guide. :y

Two bolts that hold the cable tray to the plenum, then two bolts hold it it place, lift out and unplug :y

It is a bit fiddly, and you may need to unplug the plug at the back of the plenum and disconnect the vac pipe to the brake servo if they're in the way :-\ just be doubly sure to reconnect everything afterwards :y

NO :'(, in a word.

2.6 and 3.2 only both have a coil pack for each head and no plug leads. 2.5 and 3.0 have ONE pack and plug leads. :y

P.S. the plug for the 2-4-6 coil pack sits in just the right place to get dripped on from the scuttle. The water then runs along the coilpack seal and into the plug wells. As your misfire is at pot 2 the problem is probably at the plug. For enough water to get to plug 2, you would definitely have had a misfire at pots 6 and 4 first. :-\ Also the coil packs are handed left and right :y

When you check the coil pack change the plugs around and see if the code changes cylinders......just a thought.
