Body mod's...
« on: 19 April 2012, 21:13:47 »

Hi guys,
I'm thinking of giving my Omega a new coat of paint but I am also thinking of adding a few kit parts so, I would like opinions please???
First up, I have a rear ProDrive spoiler winging it's way as we speak (see what I did there)  ;)
Next are a few other parts from around the net....
Front spoiler...
http://carlovincriminals.eu/Vauxhall-Omega-C.html
Side skirts...
http://www.nktuning.com/Vauxhall_Omega_C_Side_skirts_1396-508.html
And rear window spoiler...
http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=3_312_326_1406&products_id=9050&osCsid=bcf1ff8255e75a75b8d6a0deeff70f0a

As far as the window spoiler goes, Does anybody know of one a member has???

So, that's it... Quite basic but I think it will be a good turn out. I know they are copies but I can't afford the real deal....

Any comments will be good to see.

I like the standard look myself, but the front spoiler looks good. Expensive? Guess it would need to be well fitted.
Can't think of anyone with the rear window spoiler?

It's all quite cheap compared to the Irmy kit. I get what you say about the "standard look" but this lot should make the car look a little more aggressive without having OTT bumpers....

Yep, definitely  :y
It's all about your own preference. I do think it will look good, and if you're planning a respray anyway ..........

I quite like it too actually. I've seen these before on A4 and 3 series BMWs, but not on Omega ................ so far  :y

I have to say that I've never been a fan of the Irmscher body kitted saloon or even estate but I think these will work well.
The front splitter , valance B , is just enough and maintains the swage lines between bumper and side mouldings .
I've seen some photos of the window spoiler on some cars in the gallery and it again is subtle .
I think you'd need to fit the side skirts to balance the front splitter but as long as you have the correct wheels on the car , preferably 17's , they should complete the deal.......
I'd go for it.  :y

Now that I like.

Perfection for me would be the side skirts from that website, a valance for the rear bumper to lower the back a little and the front bumper from the guy with the Omega he uses for drifting in the gallery.

I'm even tempted to spray black down to the top of the doors, black bonnet, and white everywhere else...

I have the rear boot spoiler, but not fitted yet.

Got the front lip spoiler and am impressed.

I have also thought about the rear window spoiler but not sure how it effects the visibility of the third brake light.

Oh man! How long have I been off OOF???
Anyway, I have the Prodrive boot lip spoiler and the front bumper spoiler painted and fitted, I have to say, I am very happy with the but it does need the skirts as said by Olympia5776. Still thinking about the rear screen spoiler though....
I will post a few pictures soon...

There was another post not long ago about rear window spoiler! But issues were that it will most likely cover the third brake light, and think the OP changed minds at that! If you didnt have the lip spoiler and only the rear window one, think wouldve looked a bit iffy! But as you already got the lip spoiler in place so putting a window one on should look good!  :y  And do put up a few pics for us to enjoy..
