Ignition switch

Just noticed I can remove the key without being in park.Any ideas?

Key release micro switch knackered under gearlever gaiter or more than likely electrical plug disconnected on ignition barrell under steering wheel cowling

Fitted new ignition switch a few weeks ago so probably a loose connection.
