Single trip euro breakdown cover
« on: 22 April 2012, 20:16:22 »

Any recommendations? Annual breakdown that covers UK is unsuitable, due to car already having UK breakdown, and the problems associated with double-insuring.

I found ADAC's year cover (covers person) was cheaper in long run, around £70 for year. I got stupid quotes of triple that just for a few days elsewhere.

I always get single trip from "Europ Assistance" .. but I purchase it via the travel agent as what we need is cover for both the car and the tin tent .. but when we had to claim they were very good.

They have a number for questions .. 0844 338 5806 .. might be worth a call ???

Why it insures the person, not car?

Likewise I tried RAC, 3 figure quotes there!  :o

Did not cause me any issues with dual cover at the time.
