ROAD TAX PETITION
« on: 04 April 2008, 09:28:44 »

You might already know about this and signed it but if you haven't here is the link;

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/UNFAIR-VED/

We need to try to stop this!

The country shouldn't stand for what is basically black mail !!!

Bored with signing all these. It will make break all difference. Can't be arsed to keep doing it - there's always one every other month about WED or Fuel Duty.

Vote the tinkers out next time instead.

I understand that everyone thinks that it won't make any difference and they are most probably right but we have to try, If the whole country signed up and stood up to the buggers they would have to think twice surley!

Every little helps!!  :)

Yes, you get an email response that starts off with basically 'we dont care' followed by a load of totally un-related waffle.

I actually think that these e-pertitions are a nice easy way of letting the public vent some anger and allowing the government to easily ignore the problem.

If you really want to do something, write to your local MP as they are legally bound to respond to each letter!

I think that is also a very good idea, there is nothing to stop us doing both though.

Would be cool if we could get Top Gear or summat to do a campaign, Clarkson would sort it out!! hehe  ;D

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Got my name on.

Hopefully if there is a flood of signatures the w*****ers might just take notice (although the cynic in me doubts it)
