Whats this I here about you lot starting to carry out passport checks again on the Spanish / French border ?

Wouldn't surprise me as Sarkozy has been braying on about improving Frances border controls. They suffer the same problem as Britain - being seen as the land of milk and honey by those less fortunate. It always surprises me, even after all these years, that the Portuguese/Spain border and the Spain/France border are devoid of border staff.

Bit of news from our shores. On Spanish TV today it was "leaked" that the government was considering making all of its motorways toll roads. It was quickly withdrawn. It isn't just the British government that tests public opinion by leaking proposals.

you might think you are but actually your mistaken about the "back" bit!!!! we've paid them and they were so delighted they've thrown in a free internal examination as well.

That makes sense. They turned out 8000 police to quell any protests outside that ECB meeting. The cost of it all!
