Hi there...
« on: 07 May 2012, 10:28:49 »

Well Hi everyone. I started watching the Q&As on the site after buying my 2.6 CD. What a brilliant car, why on earth was it not replaced with something more capable? Since buying I've had a few issues- rocker box covers leaking- just tightened the covers, cam belt change, new discs all  round. The handling was ok but not as precise as some and after reading comments on the forum I had a four wheel alignment carried out at Carson's in Melksham (excellent service) it now drives beautifully. This wet bank holiday was to have seen the brakes being bled but a sheared nipple has put paid to that! I am waiting for a dealer to open so I can buy a new one. Incidentally i came across this  http://www.fraserbrowneng.co.uk/ if anyone is interested. Also I now have trouble with the brake pedal descending to the floor.....

Looking forward to an exchange of views.

Cheers Gents and Ladies of course.

Pete

Hi Pete, Welcome to the OOF..  :y

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.
