diesel getting a joke

A local independant garage near me is now charging 1.24 for a litre  >:(

That is ridiculous!  >:(

I pay between 111.9 & 116.9
However the company I work for (German...need I say more...) pay us at a rate of 105.9 for business mileage (calculated on average mpg of 47).

This means I have to drive the Passat (yes, broken Passat replaced with new Passat...!  :-[) like a vicar to come close to not being out of pocket on every business trip!

I think I get 37ppm

I pay 109.9 for supermarket diesel (before any extra discounts)

116.9p yesterday, Tesco's in Thirsk. :( :(
Seems to be going up 1p weekly at the mo.

I think I read that there's a shortage of Diesel hence the price increases, they'll use anything these days to screw a few more quid out of us, im off to Tescos for some Rapeseed oil ;)

But then so is petrol thats getting expencive too but then its like with every thing that goes up Food and every thing else ::)

Asda.

Having an Asda credit card gets me an additional 2p off the price I quoted.

Nearest Asda to me is Reading (12 miles) & a place to avoid because of traffic
Any chance you could note the local Sainsbury's price so that we can determine if pricing is set Nationally or Locally??

Nearest Saino is Northampton - 20m away. Never go to Northampton.
