It's practically a home tie for Bayern and they have been playing well but Chelsea need to win something and on top of that if they win they are guaranteed champions league footie next season at the expense of Spurs. So I can see them being up for it to. Don't count em out but a 1-2 win to Chelsea may well be on the cards
not that well as i am a dortmund fan and they beaten them 3 times this season  ;D ;D

Is Welsh footy that freakin' bad that you have to buy a season ticket to a randon German team, Ralf??  ;D
i have been a dortmund fan since i was 2 my grandfather used to take me to all the home games and i am not welsh steve . and if i had the money i whould go to the home games ::) ::) ::)

Not to forget anyway that while Chelsea has got only one opponent the Bayern has to struggle against an opponent (Chelsea) and fight against an enemy (prestige loss). No one can decide who have easier job I would take a risk that Chelsea will be the one who can feel free to play the game of theirs own and although Bayern seems stronger they MUST win as if it was a compulsory achievement and it's very hard task. I'm not sure of Bayern as winner...

It was quite good match congrats Chelsea !  :y

Didn't watch the match but heard Chelsea one. Batted a few more in I hear in the knockouts?

I don't care much for Chelsea, but I like to hear the Germans loosing at home, in their own stadium, to technically a British club.  :)

Not to take so strictly this issue Tunnie, Chelsea is a British club and although owners can come and go the spirit of the team is staying at home all the time.  :y

I'm happy that Chelski won, because it's always good to get one over the Germans especially in their own back yard!!  :y :y :y

But to be honest Bayern Munich played the better football, they were adventurous, ran with the ball, had most of the possession and generally 'owned' the park.  Chelsea however when they had possession were content to pass it around in the midfield until they lost it or saw an opportunity to lump it up front.  ::)  I thought that in comparison to Bayern they showed little ambition to score and were happy to defend deep and wait for an opportunity....  :-\

However they went there and did the job!!  :y :y :y

Egg chasing is the way forward. much more excitement. friendly atmosphere and you're treated like an adult and hence can drink beer whilst watching the game.
