Hey all just picked myself up a 2003 2.6 MV6. So spent the last couple days giving the exterior a good scrub up. First up
I gave it a wash, and used some multi-purpose cleaner, that a friend of mines whos a valeter gives me, to clean all bits of grime round lights, windows, panel gaps, inside the checks and all the gutters. This was followed by a clay bar treatment to the bottom half of the car. Then the whole car got bug and tar remover applied. Next step was a relatively mild compound, then a polish with some AG super resin. A coat of turtle wax original paste was applied followed by a coat of AG HD wax. Then some extra gloss sealant. The front lights then received a compound and the rear i used meguiars plastx to remove scratches. I then gave all the lights a coat of HD wax and some extra gloss sealant. Finally the windows were polished, the black trim freshened up with AG bumper gel, tyres slicked and the v-grill received a wee buff up. So heres the results, forgot to take before pictures but i'm sure you all know what the average kept 9 year old car looks like!
Not the greatest pics, was getting dark but you get the idea! Next up is the interior
