Disconnecting Power Sounder
« on: 23 May 2012, 22:48:15 »

Just a quickie, do i have to disconnect battery before i pull the plug out of the sounder and tape her up until she goes into the garage at the end of the month. Then reconnect battery afterwards. or can i just pull the plug?

Cheers

I don't see why you'd HAVE to disconnect the battery first, just that if you do follow the correct procedure your less likely to set off the siren when you do pull the connector...

Yeah, when mine was disconnected I didn't muck about!  ;)

Make sure you remove and bin it as a couple of members on here have had them catch fire - one on the shelf in the garage / shed, apparently.
