DONT BELEIVE HE MISSED ME AND MY ICLKE ONE........
« on: 08 April 2008, 11:59:57 »

Well this mornin i took my ickle man out for a walk as the weather was nice. he didnt want to walk so he was in his pushchair.

well on the way back..............

i was just about to cross one of the side roads of the main road and this car came speeding down the main road. thinking, watchin and makin sure that he was goin to continue onwards and not turn into the road i was going to cross i went to cross.

Well he must have been doing around 45 mph and was not slowing down. he then decided to turn..........yes you guessed it into the road i was crossin. no indication whatso ever. the only thing i could do was try to stand in the way between the car and my son.

He missed me by mm's.

and then continued to drive off shouting out the window you should watch where your walkin Stupid b*t*h! Couldnt beleive my ears.

My son was cryin his eyes out so i was tryin to get us both off the road asap and indoing so i missed the idoits number plate. i looked around to see if anybody else had seen but there was nobody in sight. :'(
I dont beleive the cheak of some people. What would he have done if he had hit me still drove off!  :-/

Glad you and the wee man survived,  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] albeit in some distress! :( Hope it doesn't cause nightmares. :-/

maybe he'll come past you again and you can get his plate next time! :)

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Where to start!!! :o :o

Anyway sounds like a local and you will probably see it again - then you can deal with the driver

I'm glad you are both OK.  >:(

Sadly this sort of thing is under the radar unless a bobby just happens to be standing on the corner. Can't be caught on camera unfortunately. We can only hope he gets caught for something before he kills someone. >:(

Aside from anything else it is your right of way when crossing a side road like that.    After you have punched his lights out, maybe suggest he'd like to read the highway code...

Thanks goodness nothing worse happened.

I dont think i would get away with punchin his lights out.....might get done for gph and then get done by the mod.

but i will shove that Highway code where the sun dont shine!!!!  ;D ;D ;D

I was more concerned about my ickle one then me. i hate to think what would have happened if he wasnt in his push chair and walkin beside me.

I dont think some drivers actually realise the damage they can actually do in car!

Glad you are both OK ... angry and frightened .. but still OK...

Best bet is to have a look around in case you recognise the car, then take the number and report to the Police. They won't be able to do much as it's your word against his .. but they sometimes "have a word".

Getting involved in a "head to head" may just put you at more risk... not worth it IMHO ... if a guy does that to a lass and a kid .. what else would he do ???

:(

Thank God ( or whoever ) that he missed the both of you !!!!!! At the end of the day the main issue is that you are both safe.

If you see him again -- don't go head to head -- he obviously has no respect for his fellow human beings. Get as many details as poss and pass on to plod -- there is little they can do -- but as mentioned above, they might be inclined to "have a word" -- he may well be known to them if he makes a habit of driving like that !

Glad he's OK. The world goes to slow motion in such circumstances. Is he some one you've seen around before or likely to see around? Just don't get caught exacting revenge. ::)

When my kids were about about as old as yours, we were all crossing a main road in Skipton as this kn0b came within inches of SWMBO and my daughter. Thing is we were on a Pelican crossing 7 cossing with the green man. This tw*t went through the red, not as in your case purposly, but cos his mind was else where. I ran & caught up with him on the Co-op car park where I had to refrain from dragging him out of the car by his testicles, but left him in no doubt of what I thought. Older & wiser I'd have hit reported him.
