Steering Vibration
« on: 03 June 2012, 12:12:27 »

hey guys.. first post and i have a problem that needs to be rectified.
when i had got the car the first time, the car would vibrate between 50 mph and 60 mph and its smooth onwards.
i had replaced the tyres (2nd hand) done balancing and the problem seem to have disappeared until i went over a speed breaker. the vibrations came back again but this time through the steering and it wasnt as violent as it was earlier. also everytime i go over a speed bump, theres a lil thump comin from the Front right link.

check drop links and replace both sides even if one worn, vibration at a certain speed usually means wheel balancing or uneven tyre wear, but as you have had new tyres i would rule out tyres but i would go back and get wheels rebalanced you might have lost/moved a weight hitting the first speed bump  :y
