Recently had some work done on my X20XEV where the head gasket has been replaced amongst a few other things.
The mechanic guy did say afterwards to keep an eye on the coolant level cos things being moved around might affect it.

Today after a journey I was still sat in the car after having turned the engine off. After about a minute I could hear a gurgling noise from somewhere in the engine bay. I got out the car and had a look around and saw a some liquid dripping from the front right corner of the car. Smelling it, it wasn't ordinary water. Opened the bonnet and there was liquid coming from the cap on the expansion tank. The level was on the line though.

Any ideas as to what's going on?

got an air pocket in the systerm, top back up and run engine till fans come on then leave it to cool down and top up again. should help.
