Why don't we all break off from this country and just leave it to the Muslims and other ethnic communities and they can do what they bl00dy well like then!!

Sorry, I'm not a racist but I'm pi$$ed off the way we bend over backwards in this country to accommodate customs and traditions that are nothing to do with our own customs and traditions.

Would we get the same treatment in their countries? Ha ha.....no way!!

This is getting ridiculous now. This will just get worse and worse because people at the top are so sh*t scared of saying "no way , this is our country and adapt or get out" in fear of being branded racist. It is this government and its ways that is breeding racism as true brits are absolutely fed up of being told to change this and change that. Perhaps we should get a few muslims in teh same room and tell them they have to pray to the north instead.  I wonder if they would?  NO WAY!

it was reported in the (sensationalist ?) press last week that a restaurant owner in scotland was caught doing 65 in a thirty.he gave 2 reasons why the court should let him keep his licence.the first was that his business would suffer,the second reason was that as a muslim he had 2 wives who lived quite a way from each other and he needed to spend alternate nights with each of them.now considering that having more than one wife is a criminal offence (bigamy)in the u.k. it may not have been advisable to raise this matter as he could have ended up in much worse trouble,well for whatever reason he didnt get in more trouble,in fact he didnt even lose his licence.could it be that when the archbishop of canterbury said recently that we would at some point have to consider some accommadation of sharia law that events had already overtaken him ? :-/

Personally I'd look upon eating in front of people fasting as fun - if they are hungry they can eat!!!!

I'm a Scot living in Ireland but before moving here 4 years ago I lived for 15 years in Bedfordshire. I was back over late last year and couldn't believe the change in the place.
 I absolutley deplore the way  minorities are  changing Britain by threat  intimidation and stealth.
The country I grew up in is gone and it breaks my heart....

Personally I'd look upon eating in front of people fasting as fun - if they are hungry they can eat!!!!

if you see many angry-hungry looking eyes you loose your fun

I am curious .... I am not up on Jewish religious practice, but isn't there some tenet by which they are not allowed to use mechanical or electrical devices before sunset on their sabbath ( or the night before?) -- in which case, to be fair and consistant ... if we can't eat in order not to offend muslim colleagues, we should also not work on the Jewish sabbath in order not to be anti semetic.
