Vx anti-freeze
« on: 10 June 2012, 22:40:59 »

Daft question ... but someone might know ...

I keep being bombarded with requests to sign this damned e-petition ... (most now get diverted to spam but some get through)

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/12547

now I am lead to believe that many manufacturers already add this "bitter agent" to their anti-freeze anyway... so what good will the stupid petition do anyway .. even if people sign it .. which I doubt ...

However, it got me thinking .. does anyone know if VX add the agent or not ???

:)

Antifreeze is a welcome relief from German wine even with the bitter additives. ;)

TBH, I think antifreeze has always had these additives, and I believe there's something about it on the VX coolant packaging. OK, there might not be legislation requiring it to be added to all such products, and maybe this is what the petition is all about. :-\
